Who can join a Blue Vault Alts Community Group?
Any wealth advisor serving clients may sign up to join a community group. In the near future, we will be rolling out community groups for alts analysts.
Is there a cost to join a Blue Vault Alts Community Group?
No. There is no cost to join a BV Alts Community Group. Blue Vault intends to create a thriving community of wealth advisors founded on the pillars of education, collaboration, and growth.
What is the time commitment to join a community group?
Roughly one hour per month is the time commitment associated with being part of a community group.
When will the groups meet?
Each group will meet from 4:00 pm EST to 5:15 pm EST every third Monday of the month.
How will the groups meet?
Community groups will be held virtually over Zoom. Each meeting will begin with a 5-8 minute educational presentation by a guest speaker, followed by group breakouts.
Can I pick my group?
Yes, assuming there is room. Blue Vault will assign members to a group based on their time zone and group availability.
How many people will be in each group?
There will be a maximum of 10-12 members per group. Groups will initially have with 5-6 members to leave room to grow.
When is the first community group meeting?
The official launch of all community groups will be on August 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. EST.
What if I can’t attend a meeting?
Blue Vault will record the guest speaker portion and release the video to all community group members. We encourage you to reach out to your group if you miss a meeting for a group specific update.
What if my group wants to meet on a different day?
Meeting outside of the scheduled third Monday of every month at 4:00 p.m. EST is at the discretion of each community group. However, Blue Vault will only be able to provide the educational speaker during the planned time.

If I join a Community Group, do I also have to attend Alts Summit 2025?
No. While we do plan to facilitate an event and meeting time for Community Groups during Alts Summit 2025, there is no requirement to attend.
