BC Partners, a leading international investment firm, today announces the promotion of four new Partners across its Private Equity and Credit strategies in Europe and North America: Ivelin Dimitrov, Falco Pichler, Mark Richards, and Patrick Schafer.
• Falco Pichler, Partner: Falco joined BC Partners in 2009 and leads the firm’s operations in Germany. He has worked on several investments including CeramTec, United Group, Fedrigoni, Com Hem and Synlab. Falco, who is based in Hamburg, continues to drive BC Partners’ growth and strategic presence in the German market.
• Mark Richards Partner: Mark joined BC Partners in 2017 and is a key member of the Technology and Business Services sector teams. He has played a leading role in several strategic investments, including Davies, OneAdvanced, United Group, and Valtech. Mark, who is based in London, has been instrumental in expanding the firm’s technology strategy and footprint across Europe.
• Ivelin Dimitrov, Partner, Credit: Ivelin joined BC Partners in 2018 and is based in New York. He has played a key role in scaling the firm’s Credit platform since its inception in 2017. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping investment strategy, originating and executing transactions, and expanding BC Partners Credit’s presence across North America.
• Patrick Schafer, Partner, Credit: Since joining in 2018, Patrick has helped build BC Partners Credit into a core pillar of the firm’s multi-asset strategy. Based in New York, he focuses on sourcing, structuring, and managing credit investments across both yield-oriented and opportunistic strategies.
In addition, BC Partners also announces the promotion of three new Managing Directors in its Private Equity and Capital Markets teams: Laura Cawley (New York, Capital Markets), Mathieu Bigand (New York, Private Equity), and Alexander Katsis (London, Private Equity).
