Sealy & Company Wins Bronze CPE Influence Award for Lease Renewal
The CPE Influence Awards recognize the most significant commercial real estate transactions of the year, honoring deals that demonstrate measurable impact, strategic execution, and value creation for both landlords and tenants.

Sealy & Company

Sealy & Company has received the Bronze 2025 CPE Influence Award in the Best Lease category from Commercial Property Executive for its 1.6 million-square-foot renewal with World Wide Technology at Lakeview Commerce Center within the greater St. Louis industrial market.

The CPE Influence Awards recognize the most significant commercial real estate transactions of the year, honoring deals that demonstrate measurable impact, strategic execution, and value creation for both landlords and tenants.

The award-winning renewal represents one of the largest industrial lease transactions completed in the Metro East submarket in recent years, securing continued occupancy across two Class A distribution facilities totaling more than 1.6 million square feet.

A Strategic Renewal at Scale

The renewal included agreements at Lakeview Commerce Center II (539,877 square feet) and Lakeview Commerce Center III (1,109,830 square feet). Together, the agreements preserve full occupancy across two critical facilities within World Wide Technology’s national logistics network.

World Wide Technology has occupied the facilities since 2009 and 2010, respectively, and remains Sealy & Company’s largest tenant across its portfolio. The renewal required coordinated execution across asset management, property management, leasing, legal, and operations teams. The effort was led by Regional Director Will Shagets and supported by Ed Lampitt and Matt Eastin of Cushman & Wakefield. Together, the teams delivered a renewal that supports continued occupancy and operational consistency across both facilities.

Operational Performance Driving Retention

“The extension of more than 1.6 million square feet with World Wide Technology reflects the strength of our strategic partnership with our largest tenant,” said Will. “The collaboration between our teams has maintained a consistent operational standard across both facilities, positioning the assets for continued performance.”

Both Lakeview Commerce Center II and III hold the BOMA 360 Performance Program® designation, a globally recognized certification evaluating excellence in building operations, sustainability, life safety, and tenant relations. The designation reflects the management standards that support tenant retention at scale.

Both facilities are designed for high-volume logistics operations and feature advanced HVAC systems, ESFR fire protection, full site circulation, abundant trailer parking, backup generators, and Class A office and lab space. Located near the I-255 and I-270 interchange and Lambert–St. Louis International Airport, the properties provide access to key transportation corridors, placing approximately 70 percent of the U.S. population within a 48-hour truck reach.

Sealy & Company’s selection in the Lease category reflects disciplined execution and the firm’s ability to sustain large-scale tenant partnerships in competitive logistics markets.
“Receiving the Bronze CPE Influence Award is a meaningful acknowledgment of the commitment and coordination that made this renewal successful,” Will added.
