Bluerock has expanded its national wealth distribution team with the appointment of three senior regional vice presidents at Bluerock Capital Markets, the alternative asset manager’s dedicated dealer manager. The new hires will strengthen the firm’s coverage of financial advisors across the independent broker-dealer, wirehouse and registered investment advisor channels.
Mick McClendon will oversee the Southeast and Atlantic West regions. He brings more than 25 years of capital markets experience and most recently worked at Capital Square. Jeff Spah will lead the Mountain Desert region and serve as head of internal sales. His experience includes more than 25 years in financial services, with a focus on private markets, private credit, direct real estate and tax-advantaged strategies. Jeff Waszak, who joins Bluerock from CIM Group, will lead the Midwest region and brings 12 years of alternative investment distribution experience.
Bluerock founder and CEO Ramin Kamfar said the three executives bring established advisor relationships and proven capital-raising experience to their respective markets. The expanded team will support advisors using Bluerock’s range of alternative investment solutions, including 1031 and 721 exchanges, public and private real estate, alternative credit and qualified opportunity zones.
