The 2019 Blue Vault Bowman 5thAnnual Broker Dealer Educational Summit will be held March 11 thru March 14, 2019, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida. The Bowman Law Firm teams with Blue Vault this year to expand the Summit’s scope. The 2019 Summit will expand to four days, beginning with a Welcome on Monday afternoon followed by a market update presentation by Kevin Gannon of Robert A. Stanger & Co. Each day will feature sponsor presentations, broker dealer discussions, and networking opportunities, including evening dine-arounds.
The Summit brings together the industry’s premier broker dealers, RIAs, and alternative investment managers for unrivaled educational dialogue and networking. This year’s Summit brings together professionals from 25 of the industry’s leading broker dealers to hear presentations by 17 investment managers and ask probing questions regarding their investment strategies, past performance, and future directions. The Summit also includes panel discussions by industry experts on such topics as equity raise, regulatory changes, due diligence, portfolio diversification, industry trends, and the outlook for the alternative investments marketplace. Attendees enjoy plentiful opportunities for networking both during the conference and after hours.
Investment managers, including those offering nontraded REITs, BDCs, and Closed-End Funds, Interval Funds and Private Offerings, will have a platform to present their investment strategy and expertise and answer questions from the due diligence representatives of broker dealer firms. During closed sessions after each sponsor presentation, the broker dealer attendees have the opportunity to compare notes and share their experiences with, and outlooks for, the sponsors and their programs.
Each year Blue Vault has provided an expanded program for the attendees at the Educational Summit, and 2019 will be the most extensive and valuable educational agenda yet. No other gathering provides the forum for sponsors of alternative investments and broker dealers to interact in a neutral setting provided by a respected independent research team in the alternative investment industry.
