Madison Capital Group, a vertically integrated real estate development and investment company, has appointed Ken Carpenter as Chief Investment Officer (CIO).
The addition reinforces Madison Capital’s position as an industry leader and signals its continued commitment to delivering superior returns in the multifamily, self-storage, boat, and RV storage sectors.
Mr. Carpenter brings a wealth of experience earned over a 25-year career in real estate investment and management. He most recently spearheaded Greystone’s move into Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) for third-party investors through the acquisition of a leading real estate management company.
He has held several leadership roles, including with Cantor Fitzgerald, where he oversaw the real estate investment management platform, and as President of a publicly registered Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

Mr. Carpenter has been involved in the acquisition, financing, and management of over $14 billion worth of commercial real estate, spanning industrial, office, healthcare, retail, and multifamily properties. His background includes serving as Managing Director for Deutsche Bank’s Asset Finance Group and as Global Head of Wachovia’s Structured Asset Finance Group.
