Leitbox Storage Partners Announces Disposition of its Fort Myers, FL Storage Facility

Leitbox Storage Partners, “Leitbox”, a self-storage development platform, based in Birmingham, Alabama, announced today the disposition of its 133,000 SF storage facility located in Fort Myers, FL for $19,100,000.
The property is a former FedEx distribution center which Leitbox acquired for $6,400,000 in June of 2018. Part of the conversion was the addition of 43,372 SF of fully enclosed RV parking and 22,200 SF of outdoor parking – both of which have been 98% leased since opening.
“The disposition of our Fort Myers conversion represents the successful execution of our business plan from start to finish, we completed this opportunity programmatically and on time and on budget. The boat and RV storage sold out in 60 days, and the absorption exceeded our pro forma expectations.
