Resource REIT, Inc. was a self-managed real estate investment trust that owned a diverse portfolio of suburban apartment communities in targeted markets across the United States.

On January 24, 2022, the REIT announced it had entered into an agreement with Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Inc. (“BREIT”), under which BREIT would acquire all the REIT’s outstanding shares of common stock in an all-cash transaction.
