RREEF America has over 40 years of operating experience managing and implementing a diverse range of real estate strategies and solutions across the risk/return spectrum. RREEF America, together with its affiliates in Europe and Asia, comprise the global real estate investment business (formerly RREEF Real Estate) of DWS. As part of the Alternatives platform, DWS’s real estate investment business is one of the world’s largest asset managers globally with approximately $59 billion of assets under management invested in real estate and real estate related assets with a client base comprised predominantly of institutional investors, high net worth individuals and family offices.

RREEF Real Estate, the predecessor to DWS’s real estate investment business, was founded by five real estate investment professionals in San Francisco, California in 1975 to invest in real estate on behalf of U.S. institutions by offering collective investment vehicles featuring the same hands on real estate decision-making that had previously been available primarily to owners of individual properties. Throughout its history, the organization has developed a set of core principles that comprise its fundamental approach to real estate investment management, including open and frequent communication with clients and maximizing alignment of interests.

DWS has a 21 member investment research team located in seven offices worldwide that are dedicated to keeping its global real estate professionals at the forefront of the dynamic real estate investment management industry. The organization’s indepth research capabilities allow real estate professionals to develop unique perspectives and insights into the real estate market based on changing economic factors.
