What Finra pays its top executives

Each year, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc., the brokerage industry self-regulator, publishes the total compensation for its 10 highest-paid executives in its annual report. In a message accompanying this year’s report, Finra president and chief executive Robert W. Cook said that Finra is putting a squeeze on pay. It lowered incentive compensation by 9% in 2016 and is freezing officers’ salaries in 2017.
