A slowdown in growth for US GDP and jobs is seen as likely, and that will result in lower growth in real estate demand this year and next,LaSalle Investment Management says in its Mid-Year Investment Strategy Annual for 2016, issued earlier this month. That being said, the ISA notes that US property markets are well positioned with low vacancy rates and rent growth should stay positive over that timeframe, while any correction in pricing is expected to be confined to the UK.
