August 1031 and Interval Fund Sales

The numbers are in, and Blue Vault has the latest data on sales of 1031 Exchange Programs and Interval Funds for August. Blue Vault has just begun collecting sales data on these two products, in addition to nontraded REITs and BDCs, whose sales were released yesterday.

August sales numbers were as follows:

  • 1031 Exchange Programs: $38.6 million
  • Interval Funds: $159.5 million

The product sponsor leading the way in sales for 1031 Exchange Programs raised $32.9 million in August. Interval Fund equity of $92.6 million, or 58%, of total Interval Fund equity, was raised by the top sponsor in the market.

Please note: Blue Vault just began to collect sales figures for 1031 Exchange Programs and Interval Funds currently being sold in the Independent Broker Dealer Industry.  Blue Vault estimates that the numbers above represent over 90% of all sales from August 2016.
