In this session, Capital Square’s Natalie Mason, Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Development, and Michael Ollinger, Executive Vice President, Co-Head of Development, will explore the strategy, planning, benchmarking and continuous improvement required to successfully develop and shape an OZ tract.
Using Scott’s Addition as a case study, the session will examine its evolution from a predominantly industrial district into one of Richmond’s top-performing multifamily submarkets and a premier destination for dining and entertainment.
They’ll break down:
- How intentional development, strong sponsorship and market alignment helped drive its momentum and
- What lessons can be applied to other OZ tracts.
Attendees will gain practical insights into what works, what doesn’t and how to approach OZ development with a focus on both impact and performance.
